We deliver our peaches just after harvest and may need some time to ripen. Simply set out on your counter, without touching one another, stem side down and your peaches will ripen.
Feel more "science-y"? Pop them into a brown paper bag and fold the top down. This will contain the ethylene gas the fruit gives off, which hastens the ripening process. Want to speed things up even more and ripen them faster? Add a banana in there, too, for even more ethylene action.
